Terms of Service
Using Taskliner
You may use Taskliner for lawful personal or professional task planning. You do not need an account or Google connection to use the local app. You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping a JSON export or other backup when that content matters.
Your data
The current app stores your task data in your browser and does not provide a Taskliner-hosted task database. Browser storage can be cleared, corrupted, blocked, or lost by device and browser events. See the Data & Sync guide for the current recovery options.
Availability and changes
Taskliner is provided as an evolving free service. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, including the public website, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. We will update these terms when a material change affects how the service or user data works.
Third-party services
Taskliner is delivered through hosting and may load third-party font resources. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies. If you explicitly use the Google connection and sync controls, Cloudflare Pages Functions handles the OAuth session and temporarily proxies data to Google Drive for the drive.appdata scope. Taskliner does not request permission to read ordinary Google Drive files, and does not provide a Taskliner-hosted database containing your task content. Sync data is protected by your Google account and Drive app-data access; the current sync is not end-to-end encrypted.
Acceptable use
Do not use Taskliner to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, interfere with the website, or attempt to access systems or data that are not yours.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Taskliner is provided without a promise that it will be error-free, continuously available, or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep an independent backup of important information. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Age
Taskliner is not directed to children under 16. If you are not legally able to accept these terms where you live, do not use the service without the required consent.
