Terms of Service
Using Taskliner
You may use Taskliner for lawful personal or professional task planning. You do not need an account or Google connection to use the local app. You are responsible for the content you enter and for keeping a JSON export or other backup when that content matters.
Your data
The current app stores your task data in your browser and does not provide a Taskliner-hosted task database. Optional Google Drive sync stores only end-to-end encrypted copies in your Google Drive appDataFolder. Browser storage can be cleared, corrupted, blocked, or lost by device and browser events. See the Data & Sync guide for the current recovery options.
If every approved device, usable Taskliner passkey, and recovery file for encrypted sync are lost, the Drive copy cannot be recovered by Taskliner, Google, or the operator. Keep an independent JSON export of important work.
Availability and changes
Taskliner is provided as an evolving free service. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, including the public website, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. We will update these terms when a material change affects how the service or user data works.
Third-party services
Taskliner is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. The site may load Google Fonts, and Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure page views and basic performance. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies.
If you explicitly enable Discord completion sharing, your browser posts directly to the Discord Incoming Webhook you provide. Discord’s terms and privacy policy apply to that channel. Taskliner does not relay or store those posts on an operator server.
If you explicitly enable Google sync, Cloudflare Pages Functions handles the OAuth session and relays end-to-end encrypted artifacts to Google Drive using the drive.appdata scope, plus OpenID email for account identification. Taskliner does not request ordinary Drive files or operate a hosted database containing task content.
Acceptable use
Do not use Taskliner to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, interfere with the website, or attempt to access systems or data that are not yours.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Taskliner is provided without a promise that it will be error-free, continuously available, or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep an independent backup of important information. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Age
Taskliner is not directed to children under 16. If you are not legally able to accept these terms where you live, do not use the service without the required consent.
